It’s that time of year when we try to recover from holiday excesses, make resolutions for the new year, and set goals of all types. Some interesting numbers:

●       Close to 50% of us make resolutions each January

●       Two of the top five New Year’s resolutions made in 2016 were related to health:

○       #1: Lose Weight

○        #5: Staying fit and healthy

●        Less than 10% of us will stick to the plan and achieve our goal

Sound familiar? With odds like that, you might wonder why you should even try! But we want you to be part of that 10% Club! If you’ve tried to reach health and fitness goals before – you know it’s hard work. And sometimes painful work. We don’t believe in the “no pain, no gain” mantra at Bomberg Chiropractic. But we do know that once you start to move and stretch your body in new ways, you are going to experience discomfort, some aches and yes, even some pain. Current muscular-skeletal issues such as sciatica, tendonitis or old soft tissue injuries may stop you completely from setting a fitness related goal! Dr. Bomberg cares about you and helping you lead a healthy, happy life –we are here to be part of your team in 2017.

First, whether you’ve started already or planning on starting a new fitness routine, come in for an assessment of your current soft tissue and musculoskeletal situation. Dr. Bomberg can give you some practical advice on those issues that commonly stop people from meeting their fitness goals.

If you have any chronic pain issues or old injuries – Dr. Bomberg can assess your situation and put together a treatment plan that will address those issues, while helping you watch out for new problems when you start your fitness plan.

Whether it’s yoga, running, rowing, tennis, weightlifting, or low impact aerobic exercise, you are likely to experience some pain after the first few days of working out. Don’t let the fear of injury stop your progress! Dr. B can assess the pain you are feeling, provide treatment and you can get back to your workout with confidence that you aren’t seriously injuring yourself.

No matter what kind of health and wellness goals you set for yourself, Dr. Bomberg can be part of your “Dream Team” to help you realize your true potential – a healthier, happier you! To schedule your appointment, Call (763) 450-1755 or book online.

Happy New Year to you and your family! I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

Sincerely,
