Insurance. Often, people think about it as a necessary evil. On the one hand, it does help with costs, but it can be difficult to navigate. Enter Bomberg Chiropractic. Our office is different than other chiropractic practices - we know that coordinating with your health insurance provider is an important part of getting the care you need AND we are here to help you with every step of the process.

When you first come to see us, we ask that you bring your insurance card and driver’s license so we can verify your coverage. We spend time researching your coverage, and then we make sure you have a good understanding of what will be covered by insurance based on your current deductible usage, copays, and available Health Savings account balances. We do this by using top-notch insurance claim submission software, which quickly confirms insurance coverage levels, copay schedules and out of pocket treatment costs. We always want you to be more informed than less so there are no surprises and you know what your care will cost you.

Bomberg Chiropractic is insurance-friendly! Currently, these are the Twin Cities health insurance providers we work with:

●        Aetna

●        ChiroCare

●        Cigna

●        HealthPartners

●        Medica

●        Optum

●        Preferred One

●        UCare

●        UnitedHealthcare

If you don’t see your provider listed, please feel free to give us a call and we can work together to find a solution.

Once we have all your insurance information compiled, we work with you to structure a plan that meets both your health and financial goals. During our consultation process, we will learn more about your individual concerns and develop a treatment plan that is tailored to address them. Dr. Bomberg offers safe, gentle, and effective treatment options for injuries, chronic pain, limited mobility, and other ailments.

In many cases, people have deductibles they need to meet before their insurance kicks in and starts to pay. For instance, after you meet your deductible, there will be a coinsurance cost that is usually percentage based. For example, 80/20 – 80 percent insurance covers and 20 percent you pay for out of pocket.

Insurance may also limit how many visits they will cover, such as allowing 12 visits before they may require justification and clarification before a provider will authorize more covered visits. It’s important to note that many insurers do not cover chiropractic visits as part of a wellness plan.

But, Dr. Tom Bomberg can help you explore other options and packages in order to structure receiving treatment that is affordable that can still continue you to benefit you.

At Bomberg Chiropractic, we know that coordinating with your health insurance provider is an important part of getting the care you need. We will also work with you on all insurance claims, paperwork and other claims, including workers compensation cases where chiropractic care is part of your treatment plan.
